California Avocados comissioned StreetArtGlobe to promote the beginning of avocado season and draw awareness to their social media account and the label as the choice variety in Los Angeles.

StreetArtGlobe reposted a mural by John Van Hamersveld, and in conjunction with one of StreetArtGlobe’s network artists, Hanksy, conceptualized and produced a California Avocado-inspired Homer Simpson mural in Soho, NYC.

These images were hugely liked, shared and commented on. The subtle and guerilla-like nature of the campaign resulted in users widely expanding the reach of the campaign. The promotion has been the brand’s most successful advertising campaign to date.
